Baah!

I have recently been shopping for an elegant black dress for family pictures. Well I found the one that I wanted but decided that it would be wiser to wait and purchase the dress after pay day, if you know what I mean. Thursday when I checked the site my dress was still available so I never thought that in three days that my dream dress would be gone!!! So now I am between a rock and a hard place, do i spend a lot more money to buy on a dress I like or buy a dress that I kind of like for less money? Curse what to do?!?

On a happier note we had a party with some friends and it was a lot of fun!!! Everything turned out wonderful! Thanks to everyone who came, hopefully we can do it in the near future again.

For our family party I dressed up as a empty toilet paper roll. Steven did such a fantastic job designing and creating my costume. I ended up winning the most creative costume, I personally think Steven should have been awarded, all I did was wear it!!!

What to be?

After much deliberation and consideration I have (with Steven’s opinion) decided that since I have only met the majority of “The Gailey” family maybe three times that is seriously a huge maybe! That it would be in my best interest to not dress as my 16-18 year old punk self. At first I was a little sad about this, but after thinking about it, I seemed absolutely nuts for thinking that it was an okay idea. While I am still later in the evening at a friend’s party dressing as my punk self, I will not do it for the family party because I as much as I love making people feel awkward it just doesn’t seem like the best place to wear my liberal costume, plus it will be in a church…. Another strike against my rebellious outfit…

So I am asking you as my friends and family to vote for these options (because I like them all and can’t decide)

1950’s housewife, in the kitchen, barefoot and Prego…
Corpus Bride,
Member of the unwed mothers club, (maybe still to controversial, I have no idea how much humor this family of Steven’s processes’)
An empty roll of toilet paper
Helen Keller…
The Little Mermaid

You pick… please vote!!! HELP ME!!!

Recording History

Every year as a Reimann Family we put together a book using Heritage Makers, while I have never have kept my opinions to myself about how I loathe making this book, (Mostly because it takes me bloodley forever!) I have always done it, because I love My Mom in Law, Lisa, and if she wants me to do it I will. Well over the years this Site has evolved, and has made a dramatic improvements over the years. But Seriously over half of their supposed "cute" backgrounds that they have added over the last year look like 1970's carpet puked on them! I know history repeats its self, just go to the mall and watch the kids shop for their 1980's clothes. So this year I am apoligizing to my family now, but I can't help myself if The Heritage Makers corp. are going to provide these ugly-ass backgrounds I may have to use them, just to amuse myself now and in the future.

Sharing

Over the last three weeks I have learned a very important lesson. Sharing is OVER RATED! Now I know what you are thinking, sharing is wonderful, we are taught to share to show ourselves that others are just as important as us and that by serving and sharing with others we learn many great and valuable lessons... Back to my original point Sharing is completely over rated, I shared my germs with Steven, and now he has my cold, that by the way lasted for three weeks. Since then Steven has shared his cold with first his niece Whitnee, and then My Dad. While our recent sharing has touched many people, i doubt that this was what they wanted or anticipated what was to follow from coming to see the two of us. Luckily my this new way of thinking only helps me right? Just kidding!!! I just thought that it was a clever way to tell you that I hate colds!

Art, Crap and Husband!

Steven has decided to make his own blog to showcase his art. So we would love if you would take a gander at it and tell Steven what you think!

Copernicus

Fun new events that have been going on in the Reimann home….

I have recently had a cold/flu, which really isn’t shocking my body likes me to pick up every little bug possible. I have recently learned from my love that when I am sick I am even more mean than normal; the most depressing thing about this is I haven’t even noticed that I am a pain to deal with.

So new goal when I am ill, try to be nicer to Steven…

But on the other hand, I called to make a doctor’s appointment this morning, can I just tell you speaking to medical office personal makes my blood boil! Besides who you are they want to know what is wrong with you… you tell them… and then they ask details like well do you have the flu or the swine flu? Well I don’t know Copernicus you tell me? I am coming to the doctor to find out what is wrong with me… Isn’t that typical? I could have the common cold, I could have the flu, I could have the swine flu, and I could have any number of things… That’s why I am coming to see the doctor in the first place. I work in a germ infested area, full of sick people! Sorry I rant a lot mostly because I am really irritable and haven’t been sleeping well.

On a Happier Note: Steven and I watch LA Link every week together, I love watching what people get inked, I am completely obsessed with looking at peoples ink, I stare, something I don’t normally condone, but I can’t help it, I love looking at peoples tat’s! So most weeks about half way through the show I have to pause it, so Steven can go and get his easel so he can paint! He is SO Talented! Every single time I look at his paintings I feel in awe of his creativity! His work simply amazes me! I have been working on a concept of a tribute on his work but I need to think of the right way to do!

We have created a Monster! We taught Zoey how to beg, by “sitting pretty” it is so adorable, which I am sure she knows, she now anytime she wants anything, form a treat, to share our food, our ice, our attention, to be picked up, she happily performs her little trick to get what she wants!

Well I need to go get ready to see the doctor… peace out…

Depressing? I think so!

So today, as with many of my days off I have these mighty plans of grandeur. Today I was going to paint the guest bathroom, (this task required me to go to home de-pot to buy some essential items), write two papers, go shopping (which requires me to go online and price match), fold laundry, clean the house, clean the fridge, have dinner ready when Steven got home, finish some of my new creative ideas, take Zoe for a run, Get Zoey Groomed, Ship the extra reciever that is in the box, back to DISH network and that list could seriously go on and on...

What actually happened today, I did paint the bathroom, and it looks fabulous, if only i had actually remembered to buy a new shower rod... everything is done except for paiting behind the toliet and hanging the new light fixture. (just a warning for those of you who live in the building, all of our light fixtures are off center in our bathrooms, and a stud just happens to be in the dead center, it is a purely joyful filling in the hole and making the new lights center.)

I took out the garbage and cleaned out the fridge and took the garbage out again.

I went shopping, after finding all my items in less than thrity minutes, i waited in line and then found the only cashier in walmart who didn't know how to price match, needless to say a lot of people behind me were pissed off.

Got home, called Steven, found out that we were going to go on a date instead of me cooking dinner. 60 dollars later and one of the best dinners, i seriously mean best dinners of my life we went and saw "The Proposal", I found it completely Hiliarious, but then again I like akward humor.

We got home at 12, and me being the big dork that I am, made Steven stay up with me and watch "So You Think You Can Dance" and "LA Ink"..... that brings us to about one thirty in the morning....

Steven goes to bed and I stay up to write my two papers... well I finished my first paper, three pages in and hour, i was feeling rather proud, thinking to myself look at me go, I am so smart and gosh i love to write.... Only to come to citing my references.... it seriously took me an hour and then some to correctly type MLA format citations...

How lame is that? I didn't accomplish hardly anything on my tasks of TO DO's... oh well this is life, and at least Steven drags me away so I don't ruin myself by doing task after task after task... which i have been known to do as of late. So thanks Honey! I am completely grateful that you spend time with me and love me enough to protect me from myself and my OCD tendecies, but next time please don't drive so close to those damn semi's.

So it is 4:17 in the morning I am going to try and sleep, because morning will come extremely soon.. So good night and good morning to some of you... have a great day, and I wish you a great today, tomorrow, and forever....
