Zoe's Adventures

Zoe has been going through a lot of changes the last couple of weeks. It all started when she lost her first baby tooth, I think that Steven helped her lose it if you know what I mean. Since then she has proceeded to lose all of her front teeth and her canines, for a while there she looked like a meth dog. ZOEY sporting the meth dog look only lasted for a day before she started growing in her permanent teeth. I love looking in her mouth because her teeth look way too big for her little mouth. Oh and to top it off she has an overbite, because of the size of those teeth. I LOVE IT!!!

Steven and I also made the choice to have her spayed, you can call me evil and mean but we refuse to have little Zoey’s running around!!! After we dropped her off at the Clinic they called me regarding her dew claws. They told me that they strongly suggested removing them because of how flimsy they were and that they would likely get caught on something and rip off, and that would hurt her more than them removing them surgically. So even thou Steven and I adored them and loved to watch her run with her little “birdie” claws we decided that we would let the vet remove them.

When Steven brought her back to her parent’s house I almost cried. She was shaking and whimpering. He put her down so I could see her hot pink bandages wrapped around her back ankles. They looked like Pink Hot socks from the Eighties. Saturday night she was so sick, she vomited once I felt so awful because I was the one who choose to have this procedure done. She didn’t even look like herself because of how much pain she was in. But by the next morning she was up running around and having a good ‘ol time. It has been almost a week since her surgery and is pretty much back to normal, she just sleeps more. I am so thankful that everything is done and that she is ok!!! Her next adventure is obedient school; I hope they help me transform her into the dog that I know she can be.
